Austin Coffee and Film presents “Flicks on Fairbanks” – an independent film and video showcase - now in its 2nd year - produced & hosted by Constantin Traian Preda.
Austin Coffee and Film - an alternative, organic coffee house – showcases short independent movies from Florida, national, and international film and video makers the first Monday night of every month.
This is a chance for indie film and video makers to showcase their movies to an audience in a cool, relaxed setting with great organic coffee, food, beer, and wine.
The showcase needs film and video shorts (up to 30-minutes long) from producers, directors, screen writers, film students, and actors.
Movies should be creative, interesting, and entertaining. All genres (including documentary and music video) are accepted. There is no submission fee. All movies must be submitted on 1st generation NTSC VHS or DVD.
If your movie is selected (and not all movies will be selected), you are invited to appear at the screening for a brief audience question and answer session after your screening. (An appearance is not necessary to show your work).
Each movie submitted must be labeled with a first and last name, title, total running time, phone number, and e-mail address. Only original work will be considered.
Submissions may be mailed to Austin Coffee & Film - 929 W. Fairbanks - Winter Park, FL 32789 or dropped off at the same location in person during normal business hours. Attention: Constantin Preda/Flicks on Fairbanks
